I was chuckling with a friend about Trump...

No fucking way he could actually get elected... clown.. etc.

Then my friend reminded me that not only did we actually elect Dubya (2nd term at least), but the Italians - nice people, really - actually elected Berlusconi. Prime Minister 3 times.

I peed myself just a little.

Tell me Trump is an impossibility.

Please.

I honestly think Carson is a bigger threat. They're all horrible, the only good thing is that they've still got one more year to screw up or have the skeletons in their closets exposed.

For instance, I'd love to know why Johns Hopkins fired Carson. Fear of lawsuits or not, they need to fess up and quickly. ETA: It wasn't just his religious views on gays. You can bet something else was going on and that's why they didn't want him to speak.

He'll run for as long as it pleases his ego, and quit when it even slightly resembles work.

Once I stopped laughing, I said, "You're kidding, right?"

We may not be the best judges of character. Isn't that a scary thought?

I think they are so scared of having the house, the senate and the executive branch and what could happen. I feel they threw the 2008 because they knew there was going to be a meltdown. I think they wanted the 2012 but was still a little scared. Now this one I think the big money people are really scared of having the far right in control of all 3 branches.
