I just wanted to give a big big shout out to the Women who serve in our Military Services!

They sometimes get overlooked--- honestly they should never be overlooked because they are are brave as anyone serving our country.

On this Veterans Day weekend---this Vet salutes you.

A lot of people don't know that/don't know the difference (memorial is for the dead), not trying to pass judgement, simply trying to educate.

a memorial to peace, and militarized it. The WWI vets didn't want 'The War to End All Wars' to happen again.

Separate issue: do you remember when Poppy bush was campaigning (9-7-88) and told his audience that September 7 was the anniversary of Pearl Harbor? Strange mistake for a Pacific theater WWII 'hero' to make. Previously, he had twice mislabeled Memorial Day, at the Kennebunkport Memorial Day event (5-30-88), as 'Veterans Day'.

+1 to your post for the correction Sirv, and +1 to the o.p. I just chimed in for the opportunity to bash the oil nazis.

The Women of the Military sometimes are forgotten for their service and sacrifice.

in a foxhole! It is TIME to let women fully move into direct combat roles (they already are). Enough with this combat support crap, I've known women that were tougher then the kevlar vest they had on! They could outshoot me and probably outfight me in hand to hand combat!

To all the active and retired military professional women - I salute you!
