(23,932 posts)I think the question a lot of folks are asking, rightfully so, is, how will Walker's win impact the rest of the election year?
I have a few predictions of my own. For one, if Walker wins big, I fully expect the superPACs to rake in twice the money they are already expecting, as it proves that a huge propaganda investment pays off. Second, we have to consider certain states' electoral votes that are normally in the Democratic column to be very much in play this year: Wisconsin and Michigan in particular. Third, we'll be seeing a lot more of Gov. Walker on every TV in the country and he'll have a speaking gig at the convention -- in short, he'll be the next rising start of teabag politics. There is absolutely no light at the end of this tunnel, and the DNC was foolish not to treat this as the first truly important race of the season.
