Kentucky Election..So many here..

Trying to analyze results..blaming the DNC, Candidates, Local political Dem. infrastructures., etc...

My take and others have mentioned it.....There is so much political/social polarization in this country that..
until an event such as another Great Depression (29-39) or catastrophic political event punches us so hard in the gut that our survival as a country depends on eliminating the discord..

I foresee no end in sight to our demise..... Overturning Citizen’s United would be the logical beginning..but so many oligarch types have their egos and lives attached positively this dumb ass piece of legislation, that it is highly doubtful it will happen..

Even if another big event happens, it may not be enough to overturn the damage already done to keep the electorate ignorant or unable to vote.

...and just a point to keep things correct. Citizen's United is/was not legislation. It was a Supreme Court decision. We need to get that institution back in our hands.

voted in takes away their Kynect (many don't realize that was made possible through the ACA) and they lose coverage. It sucks, but suffering tends to bring about wider open eyes.

Citizens United MUST go. Until it's gone, we are going to have nothing but MONEY running things.

mailed my son a voters card here to the house, and he's been in Kentucky for almost 4 years and voting. So, when he shows up to vote they won't let him. They can't win unless they cheated, and they took away thousands of college students voting rights.

Repubs.. have oligarchs willing to spend billions on anything which will put Republican’s in office..

And that my friend Corgigal is huge... I do however appreciate your son making an effort to stir things up..

If only every dem. in kentucky did the same thing.
