Ben Carson Fabricated Violent Juvenile Past, CNN Investigation Suggests

"SNIP..........

On the campaign trail, the former neurosurgeon has recounted being an angry juvenile in his native Detroit — stabbing, throwing rocks at people, hurling bricks and beating others with baseball bats.

But through interviews with nine former classmates and friends, CNN was unable to verify any incidents supporting those claims.

One former classmate told the network: “I don’t know nothing about that… it would have been all over the whole school.” Another classmate
told CNN, “I personally do not have knowledge of those incidents… I wondered, ‘When did that happen?'”

A former friend of Carson said if he was as big a hothead as he described, it wouldn’t be a secret.”He got through his day trying not to be noticed… I remember him having a pocket saver. He had thick glasses. He was skinny and unremarkable.”

"The Secret Life of Walther Mitty Ben Carson" That this poor delusional creature is the front runner for the Republican nomination must be mind boggling to our European allies. If what he has claimed was actually true he is a dangerous psychotic that has no place near the atomic doomsday switch or that he is seriously mentally unstable. This is the strange and dangerous state of American politics when a majority of Republicans think that this person is a suitable candidate to be elected president of the country.

This is the fruit that unrestrained Hate Radio has given us. The nation that is in such an extreme state of polarization that it has become virtually ungovernable. It has created a situation in which hatred reins unrestricted. I can only conclude that the extremists in the Republican Party and their Hate Radio allies are the enemies of the Republic. I have no idea how the situation can be reversed.

I have a number of Seventh Day Adventist family members....and though they are wierd.....he seems abnormally so. That's not a brain on SDA alone....something is chemically wrong in there....whether that is natural or unnaturally...and does it seem odd to you thst he just stopped being a doctor at this time of his life? Why would an apparently gifted neurosurgeon just up and quit and become THAT guy? Afterall he is relatively young....SDA have the longest life expectancies in the U.S .....just makes me wonder.

Anyone know?

Fri Nov 6, 2015, 12:08 PM
Nov 2015

When you think about it these stories are clearly fabricated. There seems to be no way that a kid could attempt to hit is mother with a hammer, attempt to stab a kid, throw rocks and bricks at people, beat people with baseball bats, hit people with locks, and smash people's heads against lockers and not go to jail. Kids have been sent to juvenile detention for far less. Even if someone were to make the argument that Carson was sent to juvenile detention and his record was sealed upon his turning 18 the counter to that is people would remember his bad behavior and his having gone to jail. It seems the principals at his schools would remember him having attacked people. It seems the people he attacked would be willing to come forward and say he attacked them. Even if they have forgiven him they could still confirm the attacks. There is a problem with a story when there are supposedly multiple attacks on different people, but no one comes forward to confirm the attacks.

Fri Nov 6, 2015, 12:58 PM

Carson's been a big wig on the conservative Christian talk circuit for many many years. That's how he got to be so good at all the dog-whistle language that attracts the fundamentalist support without freaking out the mainstream Republicans who just don't quite get how a daring, almost heroic, surgeon for all his healing talents is otherwise qualified to run a complex democracy and its economic empire.

But the fundamentalists who are his core support have only met the Clark Kentish brain surgeon. He says he used to be violent, he used to be dangerous and thuggish on the mean streets of Detroit. There's zero indication of this aggressiveness in his character today. His stage persona in debates & political speeches is just a hair above drowsy. What on earth could have gotten so many good Christian heartlanders to believe he was so different from now before he was "born again"?

What elusive characteristic of Dr. Carson is it makes certain people just blindly accept that he could have once been such a violent, almost bestial, thug in his younger days? Hmmm... I wonder...

Would know. Also, Detroit is a big city - even with a lot more people when he was growing up. Other than going after his mom, and the family wouldn't have broadcast that, these incidents could have happened anywhere. Carson is very odd, so it could be something else, but unless he says he didn't do them, all we really have to go on is his word. The testimony of these others is kind of worthless. How would they know what might have happened in Ben's life?

Ben is running a short con while setting you up for the long con. He sold his soul to the devil when he learned people would believe just about anything transmitted from his mouth. He used his credibility as a well respected neurosurgeon to lie to the American people trying to pass himself off as a "thug". He is softer than a marshmallow but he desperately wants people to see him as a tough cat with bonafide "street cred" earned on the mean streets of Detroit...

And fail to play on racist white beliefs about black youth.

Therefore, you must invent yourself as an angry, violent black youth who overcame through Christ in order to soothe racist white fears about your black body.

None of this is complicated if you understand the deep racism in our culture.

One of the few groups white folks have trouble fitting into their schema is black nerds.

A black nerd has less than zero sex appeal. Nobody really wants to have to listen to a very un-masculine Urkel/goody two-shoes.

Obama has a dynamite back story as a guy that overcame so much to eventually become President. However, their guy has no personality outside of being a un-masculine, nerd, in a eccentric fundy religion. Notice they talk about the Jezuz a lot but not what his religion actually is. That's not a good image to push to the masses.

The story of him being "violent/bad boy" & being offered a West Point "scholarship" try to portray him as some interesting macho-man, fails under the scrutiny of sunshine.
