The Wing Nuts Blame Obama, but Never Give Him Credit When They're Proven Wrong

Today, I gassed up my 2002 Mercury Sable (68K Miles) for $3.44 a gallon, self serve. As I pumped the gas, it dawned on me that all the Repuke assholes were predicting the end of the Obama administration and imminent defeat because we would have over $4.00 a gallon gas on Memorial Day and $5.00 a gallon gas by election. Now that world demand is down and the Iran crisis talk has abated, the price is down to less than it was before all the dire talk of soaring prices. It got me to thinking of how many other false predictions these assholes made that didn't come true. How many other times they blamed President Obama for something, only to see the situation reverse itself, but never gave him the credit.

You just can't make this shit up.

Did Bush do anything wrong in the eyes of people like Hannity, Dick Footlicker Morris and Limbaugh?

Sheesh!

Seriously, the story was that as soon as he started to pull ahead in the polls, the crash happened.

bin Laden, the End of the war in Iraq, 27 months of positive job growth in the private sector, Libya, al Queda's on the ropes.

One day Obama is a disciple of a Christian radical minister, the next day he's a Muslim. One day he's bought off by Wall Street, the next day he's a Socialist.

It's truly mind numbing that these assholes can get away with this nonsense.

Don't get me wrong, I have my differences with President Obama. But he's head and shoulders above anything we've had in the past (including President Clinton) and he's a darn sight better than that Plutocrat Romney.

When gas went up, we all said it was speculators and only a fool would hold Obama responsible.

I didn't blame Obama for the rise, but said such things were pretty much beyond his control. I seldom blamed * or Clinton or Bush I or Reagan for such things, either. (In some cases, sure--when there's a clear cause and effect).

This entails, however, that I not give Obama credit for the decrease because, well, such things are still pretty much beyond his control.

This makes me a bad partisan, of course. A good partisan would either defend Obama when gas prices trended up and credit him when they came down, or (if (R)) attack Obama when they went up and ignore him when they came down.

I think they cynically believe the voters don't have time and don't have a good attention span, so they can sway them back and forth and not be subject to any critical thinking regarding their claims.

Amazingly though its the GOP that is causing gas prices to go up -or WAS. High gas prices actually HELP the Republicans.

It gives them something to blame Obama on and makes their Wall St cronies filthy rich.

How do they do it?

1.They obstruct and resist Wall St commodity speculation laws and regulations.

2.They beat the Iran war drums
