Lower down the ballot, many Democrats got tens of thousands more votes than Bevin.
We see, again, the nightmare scenario I've warned about for so many years: a U.S. election where all of the pre-election polls suggest Candidate X is set to win, but Candidate Y ends up winning by a huge margin instead and nobody even bothers to verify that the computer tabulated results accurately reflect the intent of the voters.
(snip)
We've seen both Democrats and Republicans alike fall victim to similarly anomalous and unverified results. And, while none of it bodes well for 2016 and beyond, neither does it bode well for those immediately and directly impacted by Tuesday's elections

This is how the Reich plans on 'winning' 2016. This has been going on for a decade (at least). DNC...DWS. Are you awake?

(14,349 posts)I know some people around here enjoy a good conspiracy theory and election rigging story; but how would the Repubs have stolen the governor's election without the commission or Grimes being a part of it?
Bevin already had plenty of name recognition due to his high profile race against McConnell last year. He simply beat Conway who was a horrible candidate.

Ugh. I have too much to do to educate you on this. Just go to Bradblog.com. Start there. Also google Bev Harris.

(14,349 posts)It's conspiratorial nonsense and you already have your scapegoat with the statement that it cannot be verified. The total number of votes for governor aren't much different than the total number for SoS, especially when some people vote only for the top race and ignore the others.
I don't like Bevin any more than anyone else around here; but the election rigging opinion related to this race is really grasping at straws.
