Dad Tells Cops They Need a Warrant to Search Home, So They Kick in His Door and Kill Him

According to Carroll, deputies began knocking on the door around 3:30 am as they were looking for someone who no longer lived in the home. When Deputies asked Livingston if they could search his home, Livingston said “not without a search warrant,” according to Carroll.

Livingston then shut the door.

Having a man assert his fourth amendment right to be secure in his property was apparently too much for the deputy to handle.

“The cop kicked in the door, got on top of him, started slinging him around beat him…” Carroll said.

Witnesses explain how deputies began spraying pepper spray and deploying a taser during the assault. They say that Livingston was not fighting back and merely trying to prevent the deputies from inflicting more harm on him.

I'm not naive, nor am I uneducated in the history of our nation. We've done some horrific things.

But since I have been an adult, the absolute lack of compassion, the disregard for the laws of our nation and the treaties we have entered into, the outright contempt toward minorities and religions other than Christian (and only certain branches of Christianity) and the grotesque indifference to human life, is abhorrent.

There is no doubt we have to, immediately, address the widespread, legalized murder of people by police, especially murders of people of color. But until we rid the government of the oligarchs, until we take our country back from the corporatists, we will never see peace again. Not in the world at large and not in the towns and villages that we call home.

If they are they will become Martyrs for "the Cause" (this will be random and no centralized authority will be involved. That would indicate a Neck to be cut to end it all.) ANY Insurrection that reaches this level Has NEVER failed. The Best example of this is the Irish Insurrection, it took well over 500 years but was successful.

After this, it is just a series of escalations and tactics by authorities, and Insurrectionist, and because it's not a outright war the National guard cannot be brought in. The ATF might get involved, but Usually the authorities "Get the Message" (lets face it they don't want to end the way of Marie Antonetta, or on the unemployment line. They like it when the electorate is asleep.) and through a series of concessions and laws, will "fix the problem". However this lingering Insurrection will take years to DE-escalate. and Many Innocent people will die as a results of their to not listening to the people or being asleep at the wheel in the first place.

I don't know what it will take to make people give a shit enough that they do more than complain on a keyboard. While the pen is mightier than the sword, nothing is more powerful than protest with bodies.

We have seen it begin. Occupy started this round. They were literally beaten down. Black Lives Matter and the Ferguson groups took it up from there. Ordinary people crushed by the powers that be in unending protest. But the movement waned. While there has been some ground gained, it seems to be mostly for show, with the exception of the arrest of the murderers of Freddie Gray and Walter Scott.

We're watching people murdered on nearly a daily basis. That's only what is caught in camera. We're reading about women being jailed for controlling their bodies. The land is raped and water polluted while our food is contaminated intentionally. The world is at war in so many different ways and people are killing each other over fresh water.

The oligarchs have stolen our money, collapsed the world economy intentionally and the people who planned it are put in high ranking government offices.

Out education has been stolen, sold to the highest bidder, then controlled by the powers that be to make sure there are more Delta workers than anything else. Our unions crushed and our people villified for speaking truths.

Free speech zones are accepted. We stand in little cages to protest. Our voices drowned out. Unseen by those who are being fooled.

From this for me is to never answer the door. And mind you, I was a cop (albeit briefly) a long time ago before becoming a lawyer.

I never do, anyway, but a cop will go back to the car and get reinforcements before knocking down your door. This typically requires him or her to talk to his or her boss, who has usually been down the road before and has a cooler head.

In the mean time, call 911 and tell them there is a maniac pounding on your front door.

Not a 100% solution, but will work most of the time.
