Looking past 2016, who do you see as the future of the democratic party?

For me besides Sen. Warren, I see Gavin Newsome and Sen. Booker probably as the people to watch. Anybody see any other possibilities?

Nominating wannabe republicans and then trying to guilt the party rank and file into voting for them is not the way to ensure the party's continued viability.

I suspect that the Castro brothers of Texas are destined for big things.

The Rethuglies may have Marco (what's-his-name) but barring a coup or imposed Teapublican oligarchy, I believe that the Castro brothers are part of the future.

His take on the Left is the blueprint for the future. Make no mistake.

If the 2014 midterms didn't make a dent, nothing will. Hill will get the nomination, and the actual Democratic wing will be erased. The establishment within the party will continue to use their influence to crush true democrats at the local level before they get going, as they've done for years.

No visionaries allowed - dealmakers only apply.

To think the future is Newsome, Booker, etc. as much as I commend it, is wishful.

FWIW, I always thought Sheldon Whitehouse was an admirable possibility, but I wouldn't wish it on him or any other virtuous Democrat.

for several years and includes all that internet messaging, "both parties are the same, " along with the growing number of Democratic who vote with the Republicans. Thought that does not mean it is the Rep0ublican party name that will survive.

Even the candidate list for the Republicans for this Presidential campaign is an indicator, how can the wealthiest most powerful political Party field that many candidates and no one actually be electable or fit for office.

Bernie Sanders is being denied coverage, one now obvious example CBS refusing to allow the entire last debate be post4ed on youtube.
