How We Defeat Climate Change

Right now I feel like ranting on the subject.

It has become obvious over the years that compromising with the republicans on this topic is completely worthless. You cannot use facts and logic to alter the way they think. The republicans go two ways on this subject (and many others) either they are just pathetically stupid and deny science because they are ignorant. Or they themselves don't believe the crap they are spouting but are doing it because it is what the donors that gave the campaign they ran to get elected millions of dollars says they should say it. The solution I believe is to completely by pass the rethuglicans and act on climate. The science is clear whether they like it or not. We also need serious education in school on the topic. We need to teach people about it at a young age. I think as soon kids are old enough to grasp the subject they should start to learn about it in school. It is time to #ActOnClimate

the effects of a 2c rise in temperature no matter what we do, that is baked in already, pun intended.

We might be able to keep from conducting a follow on experiment about the effect of a 4c rise. But I doubt it. The stunning idiocy of the Republican Party shows no sign of abating and nor has their stranglehold on congress or their lock on nearly 50% of the voting population. They aren't changing course and we can't do much that is effective until that situation changes.

People are causing this crisis and we're not going to solve this problem by driving a Prius and carbon taxes.

We need a fast and efficient way of depopulating earth of its human population without causing a mass extinction of course. We have billions of humans consuming resources and not contributing anything, do you know much fossil fuel and C02 emissions are wasted keeping people in vegetative states alive?

From consumer electronics to healthcare we are ruining our earth to keep consumers entertained and people who contribute little alive.
