The Burger King Video - A Question...

I just heard Cook County State's Attorney Alverez say that the BK video wouldn't have shown anything. She said it in a way that she knew the cops that went in to view the video. That suggests to me that they can get these cops together and question them. I would like to see them do just that. Question them separately and see if their stories match.

Alverez barely wanted to bring charges against the cop that did the shooting. I know, I know....she was going to do it an a few days....or weeks....or months.....or whenever. The video's release or non-release had no impact on her decision. Sure. It just was taking a real long time to figure out whether or not to charge, cause ya know.....investigation is hard work.

The LAST thing the prosecutors want to do is charge anyone else. Sure, there may be cops who deleted some video, but like she says....there was nothing on that video of importance. Honest. I heard how quickly she changed the subject when that question was posed during the press conference. This is a 1 guy affair....all the other pigs....errr....I mean cops.....are saints.

Charge anyone with obstructing justice? For deleting videos or perhaps lying to investigators. NAH. Won't happen. They'll just chalk it up to a misunderstanding, or perhaps the memories by certain cops are just unclear. But obstruction? Cops never do that, only regular citizens like you or me get charged with stuff like that.

Dead people never talk, and deleted videos don't either. But we have her assurance that there was nothing to see here....move along. The way this is unfolding, it would not surprise me if this guy walks free, or pleads to a lesser crime. From the mayor on down, I don't think they really care or understand, and just wish this would have never come out. After all, that's what they paid $5 Million dollars in settlement for.

Not that I am calling Rahm a crook...okay I am doing that. Isn't this the same city that had off the book dungeons...er...prisons where they would torture POC? Yes, I do believe it is.

Sounds like panic. They are scrambling.
