Anyone remember the TPP? Terrorism is certainly helping to bury discussion about it

So much for a public discourse about it till it gets put up for a vote in congress (within a little over 2 months), and signed by Obama if it passes congress...

exact purpose.

However, I also read somewhere recently that it might be in trouble at least for the moment. A lot of Congress very unwilling to give Obama a victory. If so, it will be the only worthwhile thing the teapartiers have done in their lives...

Signed, sealed, and delivered with a touch of phony angst for the cameras.

A few democratic politicians will become temporary "concern trolls" but that is simply theatre for public consumption. At least that is what I have read here on DU. I personally believe this to be true as well.
