Costly stem cell treatments: Are they a bogus cure?

Why don't we have FDA oversight on this?
People are getting ripped off.

They call these "clinical trials" yet charge $15,000 to $30,000 for a one day treatment.

It's like the 3rd world is here. This is snake oil that people used to have to travel abroad to buy.

To do so is surely an indication of abject quackery.

Unfortunately, medicine in the USA is regulated at the state level, and what few federal regulations exist are mostly woo friendly. The quacks get a free ride.
