I've outlived most of my crazy relatives...

Especially the uncles and aunts I used to dread seeing either today, or on Christmas.

They've mostly all died now, now we concentrate on our own immediate family.
Sisters, brother-in-laws, their kids and grandkids, and my Mom.

We never did have a big blowup, a big knock-down, dragout fistfight.

But there were some dandy arguments, and I do sympathize with those who still have to deal with family RWNJ's.

they lived through the depression and they were very progressive, if not racially sensitive. Their children are the bane of my existance now. Little FOX gnus people. granted we are getting long in the tooth, but at least I have been blamed for the liberal bent of their children, ha ha. My brother keeps me far from his children since I supposedly encouraged one of his sons to maybe turn gay - heckhi likes musicals and dances and sings and wants dance lessons. OOoooOOOOooohh And yes, I was the one who bought him tickets to the musicals on Broadway. He liked hte ads on TV and asked if I would buy him tickets - so I did. But his mother took him.
