Student, 18, banned from school bus after she 'stopped gang bullying girl with mental disabilities'

A student who intervened when she saw a gang bullying a girl with mental disabilities was punished by her school.

Stormy Rich, 18, had been riding the bus to Umatilla High School when she noticed a group of younger girls surrounding one student. She complained to the driver and then later to authorities at the school in Florida - which caused her to be banned from riding the bus, Miss Rich claimed.

At first I thought this was in Britain but of course it's Florida.

gets punish. DAMN our school are preparing our children how this country works. Whistle blowers ALWAYS get punished. Nice Lesson to learn.

Can I please be deported? Oh yeah I forgot I have the "Joy" of being a White girl born in this country.

First Texas punishes a girl for taking responsibility for her family at 17 NOW a girl gets punish for trying to protect someone.

Miss Rich told Fox: 'They were giving her food that they put in her mouth. I actually had to tell her to spit it out because she didn't understand.'

What if the girl had a food allergy and had died over it? The girl shouldn't have been bullied no matter what, but I can't believe the school is more afraid of the bullies than Miss Rich. I hope the bullied girls parents find out and sue the living shit out of the school.

Wyoming and Idaho is a lot more civilized than this place. The wild west wasn't really that wild.

it is real.

I live in Florida, and I can safely say justice and rule of law has little weight.

my county will expel a kid for defending their self. My son's mythology teacher was threatened with losing her job for evangelizing the ancient Greek religion. I thought he was joking until I met the teacher and heard it from a couple of other adults.

probably has the right to be riding a separate bus to avoid this harassment.

Yeah, I can believe that the kid defending the disabled child got in trouble. It's the shitty way we do things in the good ol' USA.

Sometimes you need to shame them into it.
