Thanks to the fast response of all of our supporters across the country, many of you have already heard that our office was broken into last night and set on fire. The worst damage was concentrated in our community organizing and outreach office where we store all of the resources we use to educate our community. We lost everything. We do not have an office to operate out of right now. Most of our office equipment and all of our educational resources were destroyed. Because of the targeted nature, we can only assume that this was intentional.

4. I used to defend clinics in NOLA

a few years after I left, the doctor at the main abortion clinic there was attacked by a nutjob who drove all the way up from Corpus Christi just to slash his throat nearly from ear to ear -- just before Christmas. How very Christian. (He survived.)

The odd thing was, at one point, due to a feud between factions in the local feminist movement, I was out there by myself. If the anti's had really wanted to do a hit, there would have been nothing I could have done except to run inside, lock the door and call 911. But apparently they preferred to stay outside and shame women -- most often as they came out, rather than in.

But can you say anymore about the feud, even by PM. I moved to NO 4 years ago and have noticed some disconnects between organizations here that should be collaborating.
