This is looking more and more like Saudi Wahhabi terror, why don't we do something about them?

We also need to take a serious look at our relationship with the Turks. We need to end the stupid effort to topple Assad and fight a one front war against Wahhabi terror. We need to join with Russia and end George Bush's unilateralism. Obama was elected to be different from Bush, not a softer version. Assad has only killed so many because he was attacked by Saudi inspired religious extremists, that want to create bin Laden's Caliphate. They are not Syrian moderates. Syrian moderates are a Saudi fabrication.

After all, all but one of the hijackers was Saudi.

I think you know why.

yet they are targets of our aggression. This is about insider backscratching and corruption. Unfortunately the leadership of both parties have been people that built careers on it, so they are incapable of focusing on the right assholes.

they don't have nice, cozy, compliant regimes like the Saudis do, despite our best efforts to install same (the Shah, the overthrow of Saddam, etc.)

don't we focus on controlling their oil? Explain? It makes no sense since after all the terror we have gotten from Saudis, we do actually have logical justification for taking their oil. This is insiderism and and stupid foreign entanglements. We could take the country easier than Iraq or Iran. It is much less populated.

Saudi Arabia is the center of the Muslim world, and as idiotic American and Western foreign policy can be at times, I guess we figure taking out the House of Saud and trying to control their oil would be far more problematic down the road than the problems we have from putting up with Saudi Arabia now.

Daesh crowd have been to Christian holy sites in Syria. Syria has as much significance to Christians as Saudi Arabia does to the Muslims. The Saudi funded Daesh bunch have had no respect what so ever to Christian holy sites in Syria, nor have they had any respect for Christians themselves.

and they won't flay you alive for it.

And if they were ever exposed to South Korea and the rest of the real world outside of Kim Jun Cartmanland, the Northerners would probably come around and become fully human once again, though it might take a couple of years. No hope for the Wahhabist assholes, though, zero.

8. Black gold > fighting terror
Thu Dec 3, 2015, 05:44 PM

Wahhabism is the main inspiration for Islamic terrorists. Saudi Arabia is the birthplace of Wahhabism and a great exporter and financier of the crazy ideology.

For example, Saudi Arabia financed the Islamic extremists in Afghanistan in the 1980s who were most eager to fight the Soviet occupation, Osama bin Laden was from Saudi Arabia, the 9/11 hijackers were Saudi, etc.

Therefore, if we were honest about wanting to fight terror, Saudi Arabia should be atop the list.

Yet aside from Israel, they are our best friend in the Middle East. Why? Black gold.

Let's also not forget that Saddam Hussein was our good friend, despite using chemical weapons against Kurds in Iraq, until he invaded Kuwait and threatened Saudi Arabia. One reason why everyone is so eager to remove Assad is because he stands in the way of the Qatar-Turkey gas pipeline, which would also run through Saudi Arabia and be very beneficial to the Saudis.

The thing is, Saudi Arabia and the West have been able to reach a certain understanding. They provide a steady supply of oil, and in return, we ignore the religious extremism and support for terrorism.

Chairlie Wilson's collaboration with Saudis in Afghanistan gave us bin Laden.

Iran and Iraq had a lot of oil too and it sure hasn't kept them off our shit list.
