Shouldn't the media be asking Trump why he lied and said he had investigators in Hawaii?

Remember those?
Trump said they were finding 'amazing things' that 'even they can not believe," and he was going to release their findings soon.
Yet, oddly, when Obama released the long-form and humiliated Trump, not another word from Donald on these imaginary investigators.
Yet the media still gives him forum after forum to spew birther lies, whether it's Bob Schieffer, Baba Wawa (who, along with Regis, still openly brags about her friendship with the birther king), or Wolf Blitzer - and no one ever has the guts to challenge him about why he publicly lied and pretended to have investigators in the field producing imaginary discoveries.

Maybe, before calling on Obama to produce a birth certificate (despite the fact that he already has - twice), Trump should explain his failure to produce his own birther task force guys.
