The man who is likely to be Alabamas next chief justice is warning that secular government will lead to Islamic law in the United States.
In an interview with conservative talk show host Steve Deace last week, Roy Moore opined that a government that is denying God was also allowing Sharia law to take hold.
Here is what the Judge Said: (You can also listen to him at the bottom of the Raw Story page)
What they fear most is my acknowledgment of the sovereignty of God, he continued, adding that the federal judge had violated not only our Constitution but the case law of the United States Supreme Court which says our religious freedom comes from God, and if it doesnt come from God people have to realize we will lose it and that is happening in our country today with Sharia law and the allowance of religious practices for other groups but not Christians.

If you listen to the guy speaking he is basically saying that Federal court violated the States' Freedom of Religion.
We need some sort of test before anyone runs for any office OR gets appointed to any office that they have a Comprehensive understanding of the Constitution and the Amendments.
The first amendment federal (and my humble understanding--I will be the first to admit I would flunk the test) and states governments from creating a State religion.

Because he knows the electorate, and panders to their knowledge base.
However, if the law is such an affront to the sovereignty of God, I think it's up to God to deal with that. Roy Moore seems a very poor choice for knowing much about anything, let alone the mind of God.

This guy is a very bad dude. He is a theocrat, as are many Republican hard liners.
We have to work hard to get out the vote this year.
