(7,968 posts)Our state has a history of that. I don't think Romney is going to play well here. People are pissed enough to have figured his shit out.

Mitt Romney faces an uphill battle as he campaigns Tuesday in Colorado, with a new poll showing President Obama leading the Republican challenger by 4 percentage points.
The survey, released Tuesday by the Democratic-leading firm Project New America, shows Obama leading Romney 48-44 percent. The president's lead comes primarily from Hispanic, female and unaffiliated voters, with Obama posting double-digit leads in each demographic group.

(9,612 posts)They also use a running average, including Rasmussen, which biases them slightly toward the Republicans.
If they have Obama at 293, he's probably actually running about 320.

(21,653 posts)Pab, they can take Oregon out of the "barely democratic" column. There is no way Romney wins here. It's not even going to be close.
Thanks.

(9,612 posts)The only state I can see jumping from Obama to Romney on this map is Virginia. Otherwise, this is a solid Obama map. 280 EV at the minimum.

(21,653 posts)I just can't see southern and plains states making up the difference. They don't have enough electoral votes.
Polls be damned, it all comes to electoral votes. President Obama wins.

(838 posts)On their site, they list N.C. as a pickup for the bad guys, but not Ind. or Fla., which they also show as red here.
Or maybe we'll hold them
