The wingnuts/Shrubbites forfeited the "American Exceptionalism" card by TORTURE
The wintgnut talking points these days are that President OBAMA is not talking "American exceptionalism."
Uh, I submit that what claim the U.S. ever has had to "exceptionalism" has been the being different by eschewing crap like torture.
What the wingnuts/'Baggers mean by it is something like raking cash in with least regulation/taxes, Robber Baronism.
It's easy being greedy, different being humane.
