well, well, two reasons to watch Morning Joe today

!. Cecile Richards, president of Planned Parenthood Federation of America. Bright, articulate she easily outmaneuvered "small government" Scar on "not letting government make private decisions of women." He was simply outgunned by her and her commonsense description of the actual work of 95% of what PP does all across the country.

2. Zbigniew Brzezinski who so easily took care of the bloviators on the set, including Carl Bernstein, and other wheezebags, on the subject of Syria. I never cared much for Mr. Zbig but now I am liking him a lot. This wasn't even a fair fight! And he looked positively merry at the end of the segment saying how much fun it was!

You can get the two segments on msnbc.tv at the Morning Joe page (or it will be up soon).

I guess all the RW gas bags they usually have on are outta town...

1. I could hear it (XM-SIrius)... sounded like that ass, Dan Senor was on with his usual neocon BS

Honestly, that entire crew really ought to be embarrassed at their own ignorance--but of course they are too arrogant (and ignorant) to do so.

2. If I were Dan, I wouldn't get signed on to a segment that Zbig is on talking about foreign policy.

They had Neo-Con Dan Senor who a few months ago was going on a tangent on how President Obama was doing everything wrong in Libya...either we were doing too much or too little and now how we should repeat whatever it was that we did there in Syria. Then he goes on to fearmonger how Iranian troops are invading Syria...sabre rattling galore. And he's a "advisor" to Mittens. The dude never put on the uniform but he's more than glad to send someone elses kid off to die for some "noble cause".

Senor looks at the world like some Risk game...loaded up with "ideology" and little basis in reality. Not to dispell Zbig's total schooling of him this morning but a chimpanzee will easily beat Senor in a battle of intelligence...

little IvyLeaguers and spit them out in front of the whole class. Not that Senor would even get INTO one of Zbig's classes at Columbia...

They had a discussion about Planned Parenthood and actually had someone from Planned Parenthood on? Holy schnikes! Some producer is going to get her walking papers as soon as Joe signs off.

9. Funny, innit? I did a double take too. But I think it's about time they had PP on.

Joe routinely trashes PP, but I think that is becoming not so popular since msnbc found out that PP is VERY mainstream in this country, if we want to get real about it. That translates into "independent voters" and if Joe wants his show to remain at all relevant he needs to get that organization's side of the story on the show. Not that it will do any good. Chris Hayes and Melissa Harris Perry are fast becoming the new things on msnbc.

The hot breath of competition breathing down Joe's back???
