6. Stephanie's Show is Better Than Ever

Since she lost the dead weight of Chris (bless his heart), and brought Jim Ward back, the show is looser & funnier than ever. And Stuttering John, the new mook, is a welcome addition. Anything is an improvement over snotty Chris (bless his heart).

Steph and Chris are overly defensive of one another and their point of view. Jim "dared" to stray off the reservation and provide a liberal response when one was desperately needed. I would love to know why he left. Glad he's back and Stephie doesn't have an over protective ally to defend her position. Not sure about John, but the learning curve of that job is steep!

And as soon as Snotty Chris left, Jim returned. Stephanie doesn't yet seem to realize how lucky she is to be rid of a co-host who would never let her be herself. I saw it as a Stockholm syndrome. All he did was browbeat & put her down constantly. She seemed intimidated by him. And you're right about John, but he might grow into the slot.

Jeez I used to be able to hear Mike Malloy on at night. That was awesome. AM radio has reverted to its frothing right-wing hateful hegemony. Luckily people only listen to AM in their car. WJR Detroit, The Great Voice Of The Great Lakes, used to be so wonderful. Now it's Limbaugh Land. So depressing. It's NPR or Nothing for radio in the car around here. Of course there's Sports Radio, but the Lions are having an awful season so.....fuck it, I put on some Art Tatum.

Re: Steph I wonder if anybody else here heard Jim's imitation of Pat Robertson. Spectacular.
