clear on how odds work...duh. Like on the chart = say, Hillary at -137 - does that mean you would get back 137 euros for each 100 you bet? And for the long shots - where it says +700 - it means you'd get 700 euros for every 100 bet?

With Clinton on top with a 4 and the numbers increasing on down the list, it seems like a 4 to 1 bet on her. However, just like the doggies or the ponies, those odds will keep changing. By the time that the general come around it doesn't matter what the odds were when you made your bet. It might end up looking like this:

Dem: 7/10
Rep: 8/10
Ind: 12
Green: 45
etc

With those odds the payout would be (wager + (odds*wager));
a dem win on a $2 bet would payout $3.40
