Woman who shot at shoplifters vows to 'never help anybody again' after conviction

Woman who shot at shoplifters vows to 'never help anybody again' after conviction
Michael E. Miller
The Washington Post

Tatiana Duva-Rodriguez thought she was doing the right thing when she pulled out her pistol and fired at a pair of shoplifters as they fled from a Home Depot near Detroit.

She wasn't, at least in the eyes of the law.

On Wednesday, a Michigan judge sentenced Duva-Rodriguez to 18 months of probation and stripped the 46-year-old of her concealed gun permit.

Man with CC license shot a guy who appeared to be threatening a theater audience with a machine gun.
Shooter get applause and praise from everyone....but then.....turns out the "terrorist", a teenager, was pulling what he considered a prank and had been holding a leaf blower, wanted to "just scare" movie goers.
People got trampled in the ensuing panic.

Hero shooter is then shocked at being arrested for what turned out to be murder of "terrorist" prankster.

A plot line to think about.
