Anyone remember Dr. Strangelove? (the movie, that is)

George C. Scott was a general, or head of the CIA, who was full of angst once the Russian ambassador was admitted to the war room. He was trying to hide whatever he could and made all kind of faces.

And then he was all aghast when the president talked to the Soviet leader to work together to avert an attack.

Every time when I see the faces that Trump makes while listening to his rivals during the debates, I am reminded of George C. Scott in this movie.

fishing trip and it was pouring rain. We played cards and played charades. When it was my turn, I indicated film and 13 words. Nobody got it. How many film titles have 13 words?

whenever I listen to nearly any modern Republican. His monologue wraps the John Birch Society in a fine layer of Ayn Rand's John Galt. I have rarely seen a better bit of film.

Does anyone know the name of the character who offered the Russian ambassador Jamaican cigars?

"Thank you, no," said the Ambassador, "I do not support the work of imperialist stooges."
"Only commie stooges, huh?"
