Bad news Pataki supporters. Pataki (and Gilmore) won't be on the ballot in Ohio.

Two Republican presidential candidates fail to file for Ohio primary

Two Republican presidential candidates failed to file to appear on Ohio's March primary ballot.

But, as expected, most major presidential candidates, including Gov. John Kasich, filed for candidacy by Wednesday's 4 p.m. deadline.

Former New York governor George Pataki and former Virginia governor Jim Gilmore did not submit the necessary paperwork, including a slate of 66 delegates and alternates, according to the Ohio secretary of state's office. Ohio is a winner-take-all state, so whoever wins the primary gets all 66 delegates at the convention.
