imho--Rump has already made the deal

It is occurring to me that the Rump kissing by Cruz, Christy, and almost Rubio is evidence that they are lining up to vie for the VP spot.
I think Christy is the furthest out since all he brings to the table is his hatred of Hillary; this goes far with most Rep's.
Cruz is in the running because he has secured the evangelical vote; the group most likely to turn on Rump
Rubio, however, is the most likely as he would carve a chunk of the Latino vote out of the Democratic opponent, he is from the South, and could be shuffled off to the usual VP obscurity.
Cruz would get the AG spot while Secretary of State is Christy's for the taking.
Rump is just the kind of guy to already have made these arrangements and his arrogance betrays him.
Pass the ammo and pray to Jesus.
Sorry for the misspells, I have lost my capital T.

When Trump stated that he wouldn't run as an independent, I felt like he'd cut a deal.

Remember, there was just a report about a brokered convention. Then suddenly, they're all buddies.

If the Kochs and the other GOP moneymen can get Trump to play ball with them, they can save a bundle on the primary trying to get their man in place and spend in the general. People don't just get rich by spending - they also get rich by acquiring something of value for a much cheaper price. Cheaper for Trump and he gets what he wants: a good shot at the presidency. Cheaper for the Kochs and they get what they want - someone who will cooperate with them if elected president.

Neither party truly trusts the other but Trump loves to make deals. And this deal could make him President so why the heck not?

Had speculated on these as well and I came up with much the same conclusions.
