I have been along that route and even if he went off the road it would have probably just meant that he would continue across country.

Glad they got it stopped.

helping us out Down Here...this will change your mind. Yes, the Deputy was incredibly brave, the timing unbelievable, but for that driver, Someone is looking out for him.

My Mom told of a distant relative who was driving his Model T when he suddenly passed out for two seconds, then re-awoke. He didn't remember what had happened, but agreed to see the doc. Turns out he was diabetic. Even 80 years ago, doctors were familiar with mini-comas, an indicator of the disease. He lived a longer life because of at least some decent treatment.
