He was knocking Rubio for his campaign ad that stated "Rubio feels like an outsider in America"! I found myself agreeing with what Scarborough. Rubio has been paid $800,000 for his book and has a box suite at the Miami Dolphins stadium, plus more perks that he should never feel an outsider!

(82,849 posts)Gee, remember how the reactionaries went on and on (and on and on!) about Michelle Obama talking about how proud she was to be an American when her husband was elected? In their febrile little minds, that was tantamount to an expression of treason: Michelle Obama has hated the United States all her life! She was ashamed of the country! She can't be First Lady! Terrorist fist bumps!
I wonder if the same snarling rage from the same demented corners of the body politic can be expected to follow Rubio's comment?

(27,315 posts)I have never understood the attraction of Rubio who seems to be another John Edwards (too sleek and unable to speak without the support of his stump speech), but this is a big mistake for somebody who has tons of consultants helping.
Outsider in the DC establishment is one thing (though doubtful for a guy the DC establishment is seeing as its darling). outsider in America is another.
