Kim Davis: It's ironic that Gawwwd picked me to defend marriage

Kentucky clerk and same-sex marriage opponent Kim Davis has at least one thing in common with her biggest detractors: they both think she's lousy at marriage.

Davis, who famously refused to sign gay couples' marriage license because she said it went against "God’s definition of marriage," has been divorced three times.

"How ironic that God would use a person like me, who failed so miserably at marriage in the world, to defend it now," she told the Associated Press on Tuesday. "The Lord picks the unlikely source to convey the message."

According to public records, she has been married four times, twice to her current husband. Critics of Davis, like columnist and LGBT rights advocate Dan Savage, say that her behavior makes her anti-gay actions that much harder to swallow. ..............(more)

tossing around stones when one lives in glass houses, or about fussing over the mote in one's neighbor's eye while ignoring the beam in one's own. Or about needing to be without sin before casting the first stone. Or about who has the authority to pass judgment. (Judgment is Mine sayeth the Lord.)

Kimmy is the one claiming authority from God. The rest of us got no such memo from on high naming her as his spokesmodel. Even if I believed in her God (I don't), I would not believe in Kim Davis!

As a result, we get back problems. Would not even need chiropractors except for that one mistake, right there.

Are able to denigrate themselves so much but still make it sound like they're extra-special because they were chosen by God.

the money train roll into the station. Time to try to get some more attention to separate more rubes from their gubmint benefit money.

This woman is despicable in every way. I'm glad her star is fading quickly.

10. Yes Kim, it WOULD be quite ironic if she had done that. But she didn't pick you for anything.
