http://www.cracked.com/personal-experiences-1760-5-things-i-learned-infiltrating-deep-web-child-molesters.html"The Deep Web" sounds like a bullshit term some cop show made up for its hacker character to say ("The serial killer's firewall has breached our Javascript! We have to backtrace him before he escapes into the Deep Web!"
Our source, "Pam", spent months undercover in an online community of child molesters, learning their lingo and studying their ways as part of an undergrad research project. The evidence she brought back is truly horrifying, and a quick heads up: Nothing that appears after this paragraph will be the least bit safe for your brain.

If you've got a photo of an FBI or CIA director enjoying a blow job from another guy, he's got a photo of you raping a boy.
There are inner circles of the Vatican that work this way too.

The story is indeed very disturbing, and it needs to be dragged out into the light of day so that we see it for what it is. Kudos to Cracked.com for raising awareness of this vile and disgusting culture.
Now... Where do we go from here? Do we ignore the article and its subject? Or do we recognize that the article is nowhere nearly as "disturbing" as the industry it exposes?

Definitely worth reading IMO. The article is wholly unambiguous in its condemnation of the culture, and it reveals information about it that one is generally not likely to hear on CNN or read on HuffPo.

(2,178 posts)My son-in law was just sent to Federal Prison because Microsoft reported that his computer had downloaded child porn to the Feds. They showed-up one Day and confiscated his computer, and sure-enough, there were a couple of illegal pics. He has no idea how they got there, but the Feds would have none of it and he ended up coping a plea.
Microsoft is nobody's friend. The 'government' could make any category of internet traffic illegal and MS will be happy to supply them with the info.
You worry about NSA? Feh...NSA has nothing on MS.
