Breaking: GOP selects Ann Romney's dancing horse as candidate..."nothing in writing says we can't"

No link yet...breaking news.

In a stunning upset to the run-up for 2016's Presidential election, the Republicans announced today that they plan to run Ann Romney's dancing horse, Rafalca, as their candidate.

"I always knew a Romney would be in the oval office one day," remarked Ms. Romney.

Newly-minted House Majority Leader Paul Ryan told CNN reporters "The best part of this is that there is nothing in writing that says we can't do this. There is nothing in the laws that govern our great land that specifically prohibits selecting a dancing horse as the Republican Presidential nominee."

When asked about a Rafalca / Clinton or Rafalca / Sanders race, RNC Chairman Reince Priebus commented "We're in. It's that simple. This will be a cake-walk to 1600 Pennsylvania Ave."

Couldn't have said it better.

AFAIC, Trump belongs behind bars for stirring up trouble, but that would be if I were a benevolent dictator.

And from past experience she may have reservations about the Romneys flying her to all those campaign appearances...

Unless horse years count, and that's not likely to happen.

I'd run my cat for President if I could, but that's not gonna happen.

... then Rafalca should be able to run for President. Although as Pinboy points out, she's only 18. What is that in horse years?

Presuming she's not an Arab, of course.

She's too young! You have to be 35 to run for President, regardless of species, and 35 in horse years doesn't count unless Queen Ann plans on lying about Rafalca's age!
