1. Why won't the NRA stop selling guns to criminals?

2. Because they tend to have a lot of money and are afraid everyone else is as paranoid as they are.

That does not count hunters or a registered gun in a locked storage of some kind. They make the big money on the guns used to mowing people down or hunters with bad eyesight.

Can you imagine? The Bundy prodigal sons will not be able to legally carry a gun for the rest of their jail time and probationary period because of their stupid move.

8. The biggest consumer of guns is the U.S. government.

Aren't we the biggest arms exporter? It's going to take a lot more than laws to change things to a serious degree. The "gun culture" is more than a few nut jobs, it is US. But Kudos to Obama for doing what he can. I think that the reason that Australia was able to outlaw guns was that they didn't have this absolutely monstrous arms industry, alongside and overlapping the NRA/gun lobby to resist any change. It's like the government is the biggest hypocrite of all here.
