The gentleman in the video spoke briefly to MSNBC, and explained that hes a 55-year-old Mormon rancher from Arizona. He was packing a rifle underneath a blanket and possibly his pants, and later retreated beneath the enormous sheet of industrial-grade plastic.

The irony of the last sentence of the interview:
"They need to go home" says the invader from Arizona.

(29,226 posts)many of my former neighbors in Arizona (Mormon) had a nice scam going...
They would subdivide their small ranches, build some sort of structure on each plot. and put their second thru Nth wife in each one (as a legal address). The wives would all file for various government programs to support themselves and their children (never naming anyone as the father) and then funnel all of the money to the "husband" as "rent payments" or gifts (tax free).
Meantime, the husband would build an enormous house where everyone would actually live.
I heard that many of these sorts of arrangements would net $10,000 or more per month for the "rancher" and his family.

(182,883 posts)Can't remember his name.
They basically built motel type rooms and moved the kids between addresses (room to room) in the same building or floor. And they played the system just as you described. They went bulk shopping with EBT cards and collected Aid to Dependent Children money that all went back into the big bucket .....mostly for the predator priest.
