Except for the fact that John Edwards was publicly humiliated and shamed to the point that he has little to no future in politics or in a public medium. No one will touch him. He is a pariah.
Newt Gingrich was never publicly humiliated or shamed in any way. He still continues to enjoy his celebrity status and asked to come on Faux, MSNBC and so on. Repubs and Dems alike treat him respectably as if he's still speaker of the house.
Is it just me or is there something wrong with this picture?
