Who Runs The Democratic Party?

Does the Democratic Party represent hard working Americans, or corporations?

When I see our president, and many others secretly negotiating TPP, and shoving it down our throats with no input from labor, or environmental groups, well, the answer is plain as day.

I realize what scorched earth opposition PBO has faced from day one, and it isn't pretty. Why he sold out to the corporate overlords with TPP is beyond me. He has made a lot of progress in so many other areas.

If the Democrats gave a sh*t they would stop this TPP nightmare. They won't.

Sad isn't it?

Where do we turn?

The Democrats supporting TPP are real Democrats. My problem is to many "Real Democrats" don't seem to care about what is good for American workers, my country, my family, much less the planet. TPP is a fine example, of laborers, and the planet, and democracy itself getting screwed. Again. Letting corporations bypass local laws if the laws cause loss of profit. Insane. Totally insane. Beyond insane. It's worse than Fascism.

Do you like the idea of some corporation poisoning your town, and your family, and vetoing your actions to stop it because they may not profit enough if they have to clean it up?

My party is selling out more, and more every day.

As the power of the oligarchs grows, where does it end?

A question that needs asked my fellow American.

we're Lucky-Damned lucky if 3%-4% in congress And state houses are doing the Peoples work. I believe I have over estimated that number.
The ones who Do work for the people are given very little media time (think Bernie/Warren), they're out ranked, outnumbered and Definitely Out Moneyed.
It is up to us to review voting records and sift thru the murky mess that has become the "representative" members of the Democratic Party.
Democrats have taken up the dark and harmful GOP practice of coddling the very privileged by worshipping money over country, imo.

the TPP, fracking, torture, killing with drones, neglecting the poor, our vets and our seniors. They will pretend they do but they support the Oligarchy that has given us 50,000,000 Americans living in poverty. Why, one might ask. Why do they put the wealthy 1% above all else? Many have been brought up to envy and worship wealth. They think that wealth means success and they will ignore the 16,000,000 children living in poverty to kowtow to the wealthy 1%.

Makes me sick.
Now, with Jim McDermott's retirement, our entire Congressional delegation (Dem) are card carrying members of the New Democrat Coalition.
House needs cleaning...

They are "well established" if you know what I mean.

Makes me sick.

Since we export a lot of stuff from Washington State, the TPP may be good for our state, while being bad for almost all the rest.

Should they care?

and i get sick at the continual feet of clay so many of our candidates represent.
but to me it does not really matter too much who is "running" the party, it is more of and issue of
does the party reflect more wishes more than the other party does

The two parties represent the High-Tech/Entertainment/Finance (Dems) and Mining/Heavy Industry (GOP) factions of the Capitalist Class.
