before that poor guy lives that one down.

Seems like every time the Seahawks are in a playoff game, weird things happen. Tony Romo fumbles on the 1 yard line, a snap gets past Wilson, and he chases it halfway down the field, and then throws it for a first down. Onside kicks, fake field goals. Receiver catches a pass lying flat on his back, Wilson throws an interception from the 1 yard line, etc

They definitely keep it interesting

I see field-goal attempts of that length and shorter missed several times per season. But Walsh missed from 27 yards. Now that is a choke!

a 47 yard shot is never a given - the can be missed, and often are - but it's always assumed a 27 yarder will be made every time. And a whole game riding on it? They're definitely fitting him for a cross as we speak...

missed a lot more often since they changed it. It used to be practically automatic. now there seems to be one missed at least every other game.

1. Laces out! Shouldn't matter, but it seems to, at least mentally.

2. On the previous kick, Sherman was about 2-3 inches from getting a hand on the ball. He was coming in from the right. He wasn't that close on the missed kick, but the kicker did pull it to the left, away from him. Coincidence? You tell me.

Anyway, GO HAWKS!!!
