Texas man hauls 200 lb dead deer home where all can see it. Ugh. Warning dead buck.

Would you want your kids seeing this? 😥

Bobby Wuest, the CEO of Wuest Inc., a family owned business that owns Pic-n-Pac convenience stores, used a winch to affix a 200-pound deer to the front of his Jeep.

Just when Texans think they have seen it all, here comes a hunter driving down a highway with a 200-pound buck attached to the front on his Jeep with its feet in the air.

And this isn’t a small-town road tucked away in Texas’ Hill Country, this is Interstate 10. But that didn’t stop 70-year-old driver Bobby Wuest from transporting his kill over 160 miles in the head-turning fashion.

“I got a lot of thumbs up and perfect hand gestures, and people take pictures of it one after another. I got a lot of positive feedback from people,” Wuest told the Seguin Gazette, the newspaper that initially posted the photo of the buck hanging on the front of the Jeep.

Since the Seguin newspaper posted the photo to Facebook on Wednesday, it has received over 600 shares and over 780 likes.

Comments range from “That's the kinda stuff that gives hunters a bad name” to “I'm ready to eat some back strap,” but that’s not stopping Weust from “enjoying” his harvest.

Few meals as delicious and healthy as a morel stuffed venison tenderloin.

Man is an omnivorous predator, we kill and consume other animals for our sustenance.

The method for transporting this buck is a bit unusual, but no traffic incidents were reported so the distraction wasn't significant...

Not nearly so ugly as factory farm chicken, pork or giant dairy operations.

That buck got to live a full life walking and running on grass or fallen leaves in forested areas.

The big factory farm meat and dairy animals spend their entire lives standing in shit.

The film opens with Hawkeye and Uncas chasing a deer thru the forest on foot. After they shoot it, they show respect and apologize to it for needing to take its life to feed themselves. My, how times have changed.

I lived in eastern Calif. in the lower Sierra Nevadas for 12 years. While driving down the road one day, we got behind a truck that had a black bear cub with its head hanging off the tailgate, draining out the blood. For miles. I tried calling the sheriff's dept, and was told they weren't breaking any laws. What do you do with a dead bear? You think they were going to skin it to make a coat?

many people have said they think the way he displayed the deer is evidence of a depraved mind or at least they alluded to that. I tend to agree. But, people do hunt and the deer they kill for venison are just as dead as that one. I don't particularly like his attitude the way he did that, but the sight of a dead deer isn't going to scar a child. At least I don't know anyone raised in the country that was scarred by such a thing.
