Kim Davis, the county clerk in Kentucky who defied a court order to issue marriage licenses to same-sex couples, will attend President Barack Obama's final State of the Union address Tuesday night, The Washington Examiner reports.

The Family Research Council, a socially conservative Christian group that opposes same-sex marriage, secured Davis' spot in the House chamber at the U.S. Capitol.

Someone -- a member of Congress, more specifically -- invited the controversial county court clerk from Kentucky to the State of the Union address, but she's not saying who.

To explain: When I, as a young lad, was a freshman in college, ('63) there was a title awarded to the fraternity brother of the biggest jock fraternity who exhibited the meanest, cruelest, most odious behavior, who was named "P of the Y," or "prick of the year."

Kim Davis is the Republican "P of the Y," and is collecting on the homage she is due.
