Just now on MSNBC. "If they (Democrats) had taken our advice and worked with us, the economy would be better."
Put on the hip boots, boys and girls. It's getting DEEP out there.

(20,888 posts)they're the ones that fought to not raise taxes not us, their the ones that watered down the wall street reform not us, they're the ones that demanded much of the stimulus go as tax cuts not us, they're the ones that are creating jobs by cutting public jobs not us... at some point you wonder when they will own up to the product of they're ideas.

(24,437 posts)He has made some proposals about how the government might be able to encourage job creation but the Republicans rejected all of them right out of the gate. I don't even think most of them even got a hearing. The Republicans have to be held to account for their obstructionism IMHO.

(1,033 posts)Words cannot describe how pissed off and angry I am at the Republican Party. They are SOLELY responsible for the mess we got into and the weak recovery. And they have the balls to blame the President because HE didn't try to work with you? Are you fucking serious? He tried too hard to work with you. You said "NO" to everything. Every fucking thing. Unless it's tax cuts for the rich or abortion bills, you have put forward nothing since taking control of the House, and thus all of Congress since nothing can get done now, and you want to blame Obama?
The Republican Party is either ignorant or evil. There is no other explanation for their response to the recession.

(13,669 posts)the disappointing jobs numbers should be on his shoulders, not Pres. O.
Wasn't that his promise when he became speaker? Didn't he say that Jobs would be priority one?
