Does Watching Republicans On Television Make You Ill Too?

I turned on the tv this morning while coffee was brewing. I saw Lindsay Graham endorsing Jeb! calling him a "good conservative" or something like that. I changed the channel and watched Trump on Joe babbling some crap about online polls and how many people said he "won" the flying monkey food fight last night. I had to turn it off.

Every time I hear the word conservative, or watch any Republican on the television I want to vomit. Sorry for being so graphic.

Maybe once upon a time being a "conservative" meant you didn't want to ignore real problems (like climate change), strip food stamps from hungry children, and deny millions of Americans access to medical care. Maybe.

Today, it means you support all of the above. All the time calling yourself a Christian. It makes me sick.

I am serious. I can not watch them for more than a few seconds without getting angry, and ill.

Am I the only one?

and, given the current state of our national press right now, that means if I have a news channel on, my TV is on mute 90% of the time.

I can't watch the puke debates. I have been avoiding national news because I'm sick of all the attention spent on Chump and his buddies.

When my local news tries to cover some national repuke issue, I scream at the teevee. I'm sick of those assholes. They have no ideas and they don't discuss policy. They just put each other down and blame everything on Obama.

For instance, in the same breath they assert that "the wealthy will be disincentivized if you tax them too much" while "suppressing the poor's wages and taking away their benefits will motivate them to get a better life!" Oh, and try to ask them how do the poor "get a better life" when they cannot afford to do so.

Or how an attack on bad cops is an attack on all cops.

Or how they're still stuck in Frank Luntz's Shortcut to Political Commentary.

Their serial victim blaming and hilarious red-baiting really galls the shit out of me as well.

of the "debate" that I turned it off. What a sewer, strictly for bottom-feeders. A series of catch-phrase attacks on Obama and Hillary alternated with the now-classic GOP circular firing squad.

I used to feel sorry for all the "reasonable" Republicans we knew, but after 40 years of being go-along voters because they lacked the guts and character to fight what was happening in their party, they own this. All of it.

and then pull it in after me.

tRump and Rafael put on quiet a show last night though I must admit. For a disclaimer I only watched the one segment I was led to on Rawstory. don't normally go there.
tRump makes some of the goofiest, stupidest and most asinine faces of any one I've ever seen. If this mo'fo hadn't inherited money he'd been shot by now from pissing someone off who he'd sold a piece of shit car too or someone who didn't like the way he washed their car. the man has about as much couth as a 4 year old bully
