Perhaps it just happens to dovetail with his mother's eternal narrative of victimhood and entitlement.

(3,580 posts)In fact studies I've read indicate up to 80% of adult mental health patients who are hospitalized have experienced childhood trauma. It changes your brain chemistry. So considering her son's prior criminal acts, I wonder what happened to him when he was a kid.

Exoneration or even mitigation of drunken assault and battery however, not warranted at all. It's amazing how many thousands of PTSD sufferers somehow haven't gotten plastered and beaten up women lately.
