Should Track Palin be found not guilty by reason of insanity? (Original Post) CommonSenseDemocrat Jan 2016 OP
Yes, the condition is genetic and unfortunately inherited. n/t JonLeibowitz Jan 2016 #1
I can see how he got PTSD from his mother... n/t backscatter712 Jan 2016 #6

I'd be more inclined to let him off for a tough childhood, if he agrees to seek counseling. Hoyt Jan 2016 #2

Being brought up in an environment of gunz, hatred, ignorance, etc., takes its toll on any kid. Close to mental illness tI guess, but quite mainstream in a lot of families.

It's an illness, maybe even a disorder. One that can be managed through the right drugs and the right therapy and the right attitude.

Also, I've never hit a woman, drunk or sober, even when I've been hit. PTSD, like alcohol, is a poor excuse for domestic violence.

If anyone would like to see the difference between mentally ill and insane, see if you can't take a tour of your local jail. The actually criminally insane are clearly insane and would be clear to a five year old. It's also depressing as hell, because 99% of the people in the crazy block are there because the system failed them in some major way. We'd rather lock people up than take care of them (which is both immoral and fiscally dumb), but that's really a whole other thread.

Track Palin is just an asshole (along with his mother). He didn't even see combat when he served, so I highly doubt he really has PTSD.
