This is sad news.

This is not another hoax, it's true and sad to see. I sure enjoyed him on Barney Miller. He had a good sense of humour about the various times people had said he died. He came on the Conan show once in a while just to confirm he was still alive. There is even a website devoted to his status, which finally now says he is dead. Rest in Piece, Fish, we will all miss you.

The show was one of the best of its era. Fish added so much to the great cast. Loved them all.

It was a lovely in joke, he knew about it and played along. "...is dead, and Abe Vigoda is still alive?"

Cross easy, Abe. We forgive you for not really being immortal.
