I can't forget this line from a very 'B' movie staring Randy Quaide, Alex Winter and Keanu Reeves (un-credited as Ortiz the Dog Boy) in 'Freaked' http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0109838/. The quote, 'He's an idiot savant, without the savant part', from that movie is a fitting description of both Rafael Edward (Ted) Cruz and Ben Carson.
