It’s apparent that TLC is uninterested in the Duggar family’s vicious crusade of lies against LGBT Americans. The Christian Post celebrates:

The stars of the series recently suffered through some scandals when it was revealed that Joshua Duggar took part in AshleyMadison.com, a website that serves as an online dating site for married men. With the family known as devout Christians, the news of Joshua’s infidelity led to the show’s cancellation....

1. I am on a TV board and they just love that show, I have no idea why.

I have read a few threads where people get upset about "attacks on the family" and trust me it is no just conservatives, one of the more liberal claims that children should not be blamed for stuff and it is too late to punish them now, they explore. my response is always, what about the victims? They tried giving the girls alone a show, but it has 0 ratings

I enjoy reality contests, even micromanaged ones, but shows about people's live squicks me out.

Nowhere in the Variety article does it say TLC is bringing 19 Kids and Counting back. The Christian Post article states:

it was announced that TLC will be bringing back "19 Kids and Counting" to the small screen. Reports show that a camera crew was recently seen with the Duggar family. They were seen in several locations such as a lumberyard and a thrift store.

But there is nothing to back that up, and no reputable outlets are reporting that 19 Kids and Counting is coming back.

Bullshit. TLC stopped broadcasting it in May 2015, when details of Josh Duggar sexually abusing his sisters and a babysitter became known; by July 16 they had cancelled it.

His account on Ashley Madison was not revealed until August.

Christian Post is directly lying, trying to whitewash Josh Duggar's past, in the hope that people will forget how his parents covered up the sexual abuse for several years. They are pretending that it was possible adultery (only 'possible', because there were so many more men than women on Ashley Madison that there must have been a low chance of starting an affair using it, though there was also a porn star who said he was violent during sex he paid for, but he met her in a strip club).

Variety tells the truth:

That scandal, of course, was surrounding the Duggar family — stars of the net’s former hugely popular “19 Kids and Counting” — when news surfaced that cast member and eldest son Josh Duggar had sexually molested teenage girls, including his sisters Jill and Jessa, who were also cast members on the now-canceled series, which was yanked from the schedule following the sex scandal.

There you have it - 'Hollywood' values mean telling the truth, while 'evangelical' values mean lying to cover up child abuse.

I used to love "Trauma: Life in the ER". Cable networks are masters at bait & switch. (q.v. Court TV/TruTV).
