I support Hillary but the vote turn out for Bernie is exciting for US!! Now, take note on what these GOP senators are doing to our President. I am asking you to please get this excited in ALL our elections. We have to stand together and give these Senators a permanent vacation! Watch closely as they obstruct justice and get fired up.

(14,691 posts)I've done voter registration and yelled at passersby 'PEOPLE DIED SO YOU COULD VOTE". I also think of the photos I've seen of people in the Third World who after walking miles barefoot then wait under a hot sun for hours to vote.
OTOH in the U.S.A. some of us stay home if it looks like rain.

(5,252 posts)I'm curious to know at what point people lose interest and where the DNC can do a better job educating Democrats. I get this uneasy feeling that people vote for president, then walk out. It might explain why so many people can't name their senator or rep. Anyway, I'm with you!

(4,451 posts)I vote D all the way down. I think a lot of people do not understand the rest of the ballot or the issues so leave it all blank except the national election.

OTOH I do feel silly being asked to vote for judges who 9 times out of 10 I've never heard of till that moment I see their name on the ballot. I pick whoever's on the Democratic side but it's hardly as an "informed' voter.
