I put this response in another thread, but thought it would be appropriate here. Since it seems to have gone unnoticed that Scalia trip was all expenses paid. Scalia lived his last day as he lived most of his adult professional life. Unethically, getting free gifts and services from those who seek favor or access.

“I knocked on the door loudly,” said Mr. Poindexter, who said Justice Scalia and the other guests had been staying at the ranch free for the weekend. “I had him in a very large room — a suite — and I thought he might be in the bathroom.”

They probably also paid for his private plane flight.

Wasn't he hunting or hanging out with Dick Cheney while the court was deliberating a case Cheney was part of? Can't remember the case itself at the moment.

Hate to say it but I will, the world's a better place with out him in it.

But Antonin Scalia is a mass murderer. He helped ruin countless lives and shortened many others. He was a vicious ideologue with no sense of balance or democratic service.

I'm amused by all the concern that someone might be grave-dancing. In this case, it's joy at the survival of millions more.

I'm not exaggerating in the slightest.

Bush v. Gore, how many have died because of that vote alone? And how many have been impoverished with this court always siding with money and power.

Just my habit to be polite, even if it isn’t warrented.
