My wife has made a major decision RE: Immigration

She got her green card approval. She's going to Guangzhou for the K3 visa interview and to get her visa packet for the green card.

After we buy the house in Northern Virginia, my wife has decided to go for her American citizenship. She will give up her Chinese citizenship to become an American.

I did not force her (in fact, I tried to talk her out of it). But she decided the benefits outweigh the bad.

So, in a little while, I will be introducing my wife as the newest American citizen.

7. When she gets her citizenship, the first thing she is looking forward to is voting in an election.

Makes you realize that Americans that refuse to vote are throwing away a gift people around the world would love to have.

My wife is from China. She has no idea how to make political opinions. She's just told what to believe by the overlords.
